Heard UNSW is filled with Asians, wondering is this the same story with macq?

Yes. Any place with commerce/economics is gonna be asian dominated. I'm sorry. You wanna mix with the whities then go do anything else. OR you could be like me and keep uni friends to a minimal.

It is evident that many people care about this and from a personal perspective, not without reason.

However I think you'll find that the moderator of this board believes it's not politically correct to discuss demographics. This is just one of many examples of censorship at Macquarie, the last causing the dissolution of the student publication.

From a personal perspective of a student studying commerce, over half the students speak english as their special language. Makes socialising difficult.

I find it bizzare how discussion on this topic within university is actively suppressed while the campus is covered in Christian propaganda.

But by all means if you hate free speech and love hypocracy come on down.

hmm yes it is but no socialising is not difficult because without generalising i've noticed most international students ie have come from overseas tend to be friends with others in the same situation and local students tend to make friends with other local students

its also full of indians of all sorts, does that make a difference ?

Yeah pretty much it man. Some i've met are funny and cool. Mostly high school friends are still the best people to hang around imo.
