im having trouble understanding the purpose of an IRP and cannot settle on a topic. If you have any ideas or know anything that can help me understand it all a little better could you please let me know.

My advice would be to talk more to your teacher and discuss it but otherwise the purpose of the I.R.P is basically to investigate into something a topic of your choosing related to your schools contents (from the syllabus). "Independently".. umm.. I guess just to show that you can apply the methodologies and that to the content of theory work =/

im doing teen pregnancy. its a subject that speaks out to me and that im interested in doing, so i wont get bored. do something that you are interested in.

anything to do with religion..culture...impact of media...peer pressure.
i think i want to do a topic that i can survey highschool kids for...its so much easier when your surveys can be held within your own school
