I have just started year 11 and was wondering if IPT and SSD are easy subjects and how hard would it be for me to get a band 6 in both of the subjects. I am doing these two subjects in particular because I am hopefully going to do computer science in the future.

The subject is called SDD - Software Design and Development.
SSD stands for solid-state drive and it's a type of storage device used in computers.

I think SDD is more about coding/programming. You don't learn coding/programming in IPT.

I did IPT and got 91 and the topics weren't hard to understand and study. I would say it's easier to get a band 6 in IPT is easier than in SDD.

Based on this I assume you would need to give SDD more of your time but that depends on your experience and which subject you end up finding easier.
