Hi people,
I have a bio assessment due in 2 days and I was wondering if anybody could tell me some of the limitations of interstate quarantine?

Interstate quarantine involves:
- designated food bins at domestic airports and highway border stops
- many food items (e.g., fruits) are prohibited from entry into other states in order to reduce the possible spread of fruit flies
- other items such as soil, wool, wood, etc. may also be prohibited under certain conditions

Under some quarantine rules, some of the above items may be allowed into another state if they have been examined for pathogens by quarantine officers.

Limitations:
- some people might smuggle some items in, e.g., in their clothes
