Not sure what level this is so I'll just post it here:

I'm trying to prove that, for the first integral on the page, the LHS becomes the RHS. I ended up with the RHS but with a '-1' on the end of it which I'm not sure why.

Anyone want to post a solution or something so I can see what you did and maybe figure out why I'm getting the '-1'?

Thanks, I see what I did now, I grouped the with the n! instead of the long bracket, which lead to an extra '-1' on the end.

Of course there much faster ways (tabular integration by parts) but I did it the old fashioned 4U way so anybody else reading this can understand what I did.
