Integrate sin(x)cos^2(x) dx

The integral is similar to the standard form

f ' (x) f(x) dx

Integral would be - cos^3(x) / 3

If you want to use substitution:
$\int sin \, x cos^2 \, x \, dx \\ \text{Let } u = cos \, x \\ du = -sin \, x \, dx \\ \therefore \int sin \, x cos^2 \, x \, dx = \int -u^2 \, dx \\ = -\frac{1}{3}u^3 + C \\ = -\frac{1}{3}cos^2 \, x + C$
