Insight for Commerce 3502 @ 2017 Semester 1 (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone who used to take this degree have any opinions or advice to offer regarding the subjects that are available for first year student.

Asides of the compulsory core subjects, these are the following flexible subjects.
ACCT1511 Accounting & Financial Mgt 1B
COMM1000 Creating Social Change
ECON1102 Macroeconomics 1
FINS1613 Business Finance
INFS1602 Info Systems in Business
MARK1012 Marketing Fundamentals
MGMT1101 Global Business Environment
TABL1710 Business and the Law

I believe that we are suppose to take 4 flexible subjects in one year. But given the choices, which will you choose?

I have took FINS1613 and INFS1602 for the upcoming first semester but I'm unsure about whether this is a right choice given that the review for those subjects, especially INFS1602, is exceptionally limited.



Any new students like me, feel free to comment your subject combination too, I'm highly curious

Is there any flexible courses that is served as a pre-requisite before taking any major?

well obviously ACCT1511 is a prerequisite for an accounting major, etc.
