Part of the independent paper there was a 2 marker in Multimedia on how "clock speed and word size affect CPU performance"

Got the clock speed part, but the word size? It's not in the prelim NOR hsc syllabus and I mean all that the syllabus says in terms of hardware affecting multimedia for processing is demands placed on processing in terms of video, animation and image processing.

What a joke!

Anyone else have thoughts on this, even if you didn't do the Independent paper today?

independent paper is notorious for pulling random crap like this. well that was the case for IPT

The trials in general (independant and CSSA) are notorious for pulling crap that we do not need to know, and scaring the absolute hell outta of us to cram it in before the HSC
