I have an in class prepared essay on groups in context. I have no idea what to do with it...all the questions confuse me.
1. Identify 3 groups of people in australia at risk of poverty and explain why thay might be at risk
2. FOr 1 group you have studied discuss 2 factors that might negitively impact on the individuals self esteem.
3. for 2 groups you have studied assess the impact of societal attitudes on the ability of each group to meet their needs.
could someone please help me???????
I also need definitions of the groups if someone could help me with them????

yer get definitions out of textbook and i think that HSC online site has good definitions if i can remeber right

1.i would do socioeconomically disadvantaged for obvious reasons, sole parents as it is hard for them to have full time employment and look after there children especially if they are young and the riseing living expenses and chronically ill- cost of medicine special equipment, can be hard for them to work and hold a job down etc

2. Disabled- factors 1- they are unable to be as independent as others and may need a lot of help to do simple tasks, 2- when people gossip or stare or bully them etc.

3. the Aged- do needs like employment employers dont think they can work as good or hard as younger people, acess to services, education and maybe Gays and lesbians- discrimination against employment, access to services, also needs like self esteem and self identity

anyways hope this helps not very good but in a rush i tried to use differnet groups for each one but i dont no if u need to do this it might make it hareder for u as more definitions to remember but there not that hard anyways
