My school is a little behind and we have not finished all the yr 11 topics (i.e. Polynomials, parametrics, sequence & series and Permutations & combinations). Does this mean i can't start the ext 2 course without finishing these topics? Also, would you guys reccomend that i get a tutor so i dont end up in a simmilar position prior to the HSC ?   (need advice):)

Don't worry most schools don't finish those topics till mid year of year next year, yo should be starting permutations next term, S&S you should have already done as part of the 2 unit work, polynomials are quite easy to learn should take you 1 week to learn it all, parametrics you might do after perms and combs. Don't worry I'm sure you will finish it by the time of the HSC. And even if you don't learn those topics you will surely be revised of it when you start the 4 unit versions of it

Really? Well, its not very hard at all. Should learn the basic principles in around 2-3 days, but you'll need practice to become flawless at it. That is, unless you haven't done so at tutoring (if you take tutoring).
