Right. So I'm officially an uneducated loser who can't tell the difference between one end of an encyclopedia from another.

*goes off to sulk*

I didn't say that, or mean it at all! I'm sorry if I gave that impression.:( I was affirming what you said, by introducing the Elizabethan notion of moderation, which claims that "thou shalt have more than two tens to a score" if you are well tempered.

I was affirming the choice. I hate elitism, and I'm sorry if I unwittingly perpetrated it.

Don't fret your pretty head golden, my melodrama is on an all-time high tonight... combination of HSC stress, procrastination, guilt associated with lack of studying for Textiles, and the thrilling soap opera taking place in the EE2 forum tonight.

Keep up the good work! :)

I appreciate the compliment boasboy. And yes, Glitterfairy, the choice is yours. As the fool from King Lear says:

"Have more than thou showest,
Speak less than thou knowest,
Lend less than thou owest,
Ride more than thou goest,
Learn more than thou trowest,
Set less than thou throwest,
Leave thy drink and thy whore,
And keep in a door,
And thou shalt have more
Than two tens to a score."

;)
Good Lord, this is the second old text quote from you I've read today. Do you keep these next to your computer? :p

No, I don't keep old tomes beside my computer! I just have a knack for remembering interesting quotes. Eccentricity becomes me. :p If my quoting is getting annoying, drop me a hint and I'll stop. Sometimes I just get into poetic and reflective moods; and its then that you really gotta watch out. Hehe ;)

Hey, if you make fifty posts, do you become a "member"? Ooh, I am about to find out...(this thread has really gotten off topic...Its more like a conversational free-for-all).

As I said in the other thread, it doesn't bother me in the least.

I think the question of whether or not this thread has a purpose has been the circular argument which has consumed it. We should re-name it: "The Place of Paradoxes". Paradoxes are fun, like this thread. And I'm totally bludging...

Or maybe we should just leave the name as it is! This thread had a point until you all came in and ruined it.... RUINED IT... First my perfectly relevant thread turned irrelevant (and i began to feel sick) then people started quoting King Lear (and I began to cry) then someone said:

And I began to throw up uncontrollably.

No just kidding, I'm just jealous of your literary abilties.

Plus I'm angry at Llryai for bringing up the subject of porn in this obviously catholicly-founded thread.

I knew it! You all hate me! :( Life is so cruel!

Do people here want to discuss something interesting, or are you content to keep bantering? :)

I know - we could make a comic little essay on TROUBLEMAKERS - everyone gets to write one sentence on a rotating basis...
Hehehe, :p .

Or perhaps it'll just be re-runs of glitterfairy's unamusing, melodramatic exploits... heeheehee

But like seriously, what about not-sure-but-I-think-I'm-agnostic people like myself? Caught between Llyrai's porn and Eternal Damnation.

That, and the difference between Soft Pink and Pink nailpolish. Oh dear, what a tough decision!

In many religions (other than Byzantine Christianity!), sensuality is a part of greater spirituality (hence Bollywood movies are so beautifully colourful and musical). Brazen sexuality on the other hand, can become perverted when it does not find its fulfilment in the soul; when it denounces transcendant and fiery beauty; when it accepts material sense as the only sense. Eternal damnation, likewise, is of our own making. I believe that good and evil are earthy values, and that the greater universe breathes in and out in constant process of causation - of cause and effect. Good and evil are of our own making, because choice is all.

Oh, and pink is totally the devils colour....hehe

I'm still a lady!! *glitterfairy buffs nails and points tapered dancer feet*

I can still be useful, nice and sweet! *glitterfairy tries to look cute and intelligent at same time*

I can still live up to your high expectations! *glitterfairy ponders as to what the heck these could be...*

And I will definately see you at Spec! It will be huge this year... I'll have to wear more glitter than ever (difficult as I was literally covered in the stuff last year, it took a few people's efforts to get all the sparklies on last time, Long Live the Glitter Festivals!) and we'll meet up backstage or something! Ah, can't wait till Spec... there will be lots of dancing, lots of playing Pony, lots of going crazy...

And then afterwards, lots of clubbing as I celebrate 18-ness... ah, can't wait! Clubbing sounds awesome...

Clubbing mad and I haven't even started yet...!

*When in doubt, smile, and paint your nails a pretty colour*
