The 2011 International Mathematical Olympiad will be held in the Sporthallen Zuid in Amsterdam on July 18-19.

I'm pretty sure we have no chance of winning. It's usually the Chinese or Russians who win it. They have ridiculously talented students, some of whom get 42 (full marks).

By the way, for interested students, there's a website AOPS with plenty of free math competition papers and people can also discuss problems in the forums.

AOPS is awesome. I wish Russia could win again. No bias, I swear.

Wow. There's less ruse people this year and there's someone from Perth! I don't know anyone from last year's olympiads from Perth.

The best of luck to them! Hope they come back with a stack of medals!

Also, lol if North Korea cheats again.

Not sure. But if you look up the 2010 IMO site, the results say that North Korea got disqualified for cheating. I lol'd (a year ago).
