Go on step 2 and click on the link that says 'activate my student account now' (about 3 lines down from the heading. Then tupe the student number they gave you in the email, and make ur password.

its not that simple... after you create that account you have to go to your email, which is hosted by a separate provider. but your password doesnt match and your username doesnt exist (at least not what it should be, according to all the info).

ok, i tried it today and i got a new prompt when entering https://www.outlook.com/student.uws.edu.au, asking for my username and password. i can enter them and it works but it still takes me to the same useless microsoft page, without taking me to my email.

Put in your student number (if you have it) and password.

You can't go on the regular live site. It has to be through the UWS portal.
Also just type in your student number, not the whole email.
