Illness/Misadventure (1 Viewer)

So this is gonna sound stupid, but I did the whole exam today with my right hand (I'm left-handed) and got no where near finishing. I've got doctors certificates for my hand and I'll probably need surgery after the HSC, but what are my chances at Illness/Misadventure being upheld? It happened 7 weeks ago playing footy and the doctors (I've been to 5) play it down as if It'll get better with time. Also I've been unable to study effectively as its an annoyance and I can't write with my dominant hand. The school offered me a writer, however I didn't find this feasible for English, but I have one for everything else (Bio, Geo, Maths, etc). What are my chances of Illness/Misadventure? Thanks and Good Luck!

Also I'm top rank for Adv English at my school if that makes a difference.

You cant claim illness and misadventure for the same condition that already got you a writer.

I mean that my hand was affecting me during the exam.

haha the way I'm goin I won't get my HSC and I'll have to do it again.

Ask the senior supervisor about that. You should have to him/her right after the exam about your condition.

Yep they know. I go to a small school (17 graduates) so I know all 3 supervisors and talked to them before and after the exam about it. I picked up the Illness/Misadventure form from the supervisor (I don't think he knew that he had to fill in a section, I'm probably the first person from my school in years to apply) and went to my assistant principal and he told me it had to be in by my last exam. It's sort of touch and go, If I get misadventure I'll be fine but if I don't I'll fail my HSC.

Can't you get a writer for the time being then also receive misadventure/illness?

Yeah I've got a writer for Bio, Geo, Maths and Physics I think. But the people, so I've been told, who had to have a writer went really bad because it's so different to what their used to. I'm just gonna apply for Illness/Misadventure and hope for the best. I don't like my chances though.
