what does it means to love yourself? And if you love yourself, you get to love others. I don't get it.

Loving yourself is essentially masturbating to yourself in front of the mirror. Sometimes when I really love myself, I cry myself to sleep drenched in a cold sweat about the fear of committment.

Try it.

lol, i guess it depends in what way, another context (other than ajayz) would be the fact that to love someone else, you goota be comfortable with yourself, with your identity as a whole!!
if u dnt know yourself now, u cant truly give your self to someone else!
does that make sense?? :)

To love one's self is to accept, tolerate (don't confuse the two, to think 'live and let live' is merely acquiescence) and appreciate the facets of one's persona and existence.

When people say 'if you love yourself, you get to love others' it means you only learn what love is when you have the capacity to accept, tolerate and appreciate yourself. If you don't know how, or don't have the ability to apply these things to yourself, how can you ever love someone? (ie to apply those things to them)
