I did something stupid. A few weeks ago I contacted someone from a website online to fix my university grades. At the time, I was overwhelmed, failing a major course, and honestly just desperate. He sounded confident, showed “proof, of previous jobs”

He did not even ask for upfront payment. I put the money in escrow on the site, and he only gets it if the job is completed successfully — which honestly made the whole thing feel more legit.

Now He’s telling me he’s almost done. He’s even shown what looks like backend screenshots and screen record of the university system , my students profile and the grade section he accessed. According to him, all that’s left is my final approval before he performs the actual change, because he says it’s a one-shot process to avoid suspicion.

That’s what’s scaring me.

He keeps telling me, “Once I execute this step, there’s no going back,” and suddenly the reality is hitting me. It felt like “just a small fix” at first, but now that it’s real — I’m panicking.

My brain is going in circles:

What if he actually did get into the system and now I’m tied to something that could ruin me academically and legally?

What if the screenshots are real and this becomes something I can’t undo?

I haven’t approved anything yet. He’s saying if I change my mind I still have to pay 60% of his fee for getting into the server or what not , but I feel sick to my stomach even thinking about letting this go through.

I know I made a stupid decision contacting him in the first place, and I’m not trying to justify it. I’m just terrified now. If I walk away, I don’t know what he’ll do with whatever information he has. If I go forward, I might be making the biggest mistake of my life.

I have contacted the support on anonymous-hackers-for-hire . com where I found the guy and they said as long as the hacker can show proof that he has completed the job he will get paid at least 50% .

I’m honestly lost. Has anyone dealt with something like this, or seen similar situations? What’s the safest way out of this without digging myself deeper?

no offence but this is actually crazy and dumb work

im sure failing a unit is much better than getting suspended from uni or something bigger if you do get caught
