Faith in god means nothing. Faith in the state strengthens the people.

When Mr Bush visits New Orleans, he may have to answer increasing criticism that his Administration took money from a program to reinforce the levee banks to fund the war on Iraq.

The former head of the US Army Corps of Engineers, the agency that handles the infrastructure of the nation's waterways, said the damage in New Orleans probably would have been much less extensive had flood-control efforts been fully funded.

This disaster happened to New Orleans in particular, because in just a few more days before the hurricane hit, there was going to be the event called "Southern Decadence." This is like Sydney's Mardi Gras, except there are thousands and thousands of more people there, each increasing every year. It attracts homosexual males and females from all around the world, and they engage in wild sexual immorality for the most part. God stopped it this year with this diaster, because he shouldn't have to "put up" with all that mass sinning.
The same reasoning applies when the Californian earthquakes are going to happen shorty (The Virgin Mary has revealed this in her most recent messages). They will happen because of the homosexuality sinning over there, and I think that state has legalised gay marriages. The volcano will also erupt somewhere in the Earth shortly, but it hasn't been revealed where or why.
So much more also to come, especially more hurricanes, tornadoes, accidents with vehicles such as cars, trucks and planes (Already happened in Greece these past 2 weeks, with no survivors). Her message was simple, only through prayer to Our Saviour can we "ease these disasters."

hahah you are so fucking stupid

Most experts have termed hurricane Katrina, as the U.S most damaging and in general the worst natural disaster it has experienced. When will people actually see the link between the area's "collective sin" that I discussed before?, and sooo much more is happening right now as I speak. Bus accident killing more people in the hurricanes area, typhoon in China just hit with more deaths and so much flooding, huge fires on so many many continents. Yes God is allowing this to happen because of our sins, but still so few are actually turning to him in these times. The Virgin Mary had predicted all this would happen, plus more hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, floods etc etc. When will the rest of the world wake up? When we have the Californian earthquakes that are about to hit, or the volcano erupting shortly?
There are already thousands of people all around the world that have already accepted "The chip," and thus signed their contract to hell. This is alarming, how they said the death toll in New Orleans alone could top 10000. Prayers can ease what's about to come, that is all.
the typhoon that hit china evacuated about a million people, the deaths weren't as much as there are from hurricane katrina, i'm pretty sure.

Are you suggesting that God is merciless and indiscriminatory and would throw a hurricane/typhoon to a location that has a few collective people who are sinful and would dare disregard the children and christians alike?

Prayers can ease yes, but I think food, water and shelter might achieve a little more.... personally, for now. If you had put "prayers can ease what's about to come" I wouldn't have said anything, but that's all? Get a grip of reality please.

I find your posts very irrational. Spirituality and religion has its good points but they way you put them are insulting and embarassing to other people that share your faith.

There is a much higher % of christians living in America (and in particular new orleans) than in Australia.

Even with your insane logic, if the premises are wrong, the argument is wrong.

Newshour again. Reporters (even the most republican) are speculating that this is going to be a bursting point- This has exposed race poverty in America (60% of NO black - 1/3rd of them below poverty line), lack of planning from last natural disaster (during Bush 1) as well as failure to act.

Instead of pulling off a miracle of image symbolism, he indifferently flew over, looking from his window at the carnage.
This is all before the body count/cost/impact on the economy have been detailed. They're saying that the mood hasnt been like this since the 70s - where people were fed up and disenchanted with government.

Agreed.
The people who stayed back in New Orleans were the poor.
The people who are the poor, are black.

Why are there so many poor black people?

Heh, my mistake, it didn't happen, someone better call NO and let them know

It's pretty obvious the colouring is different but have a closer look, it's plain that some areas are really messed up (And that overall, it's pretty bad).

It's a pickle.
But a government should exist to stop all the things that have come from this disaster - including poverty. Newshour was surprisingly questioning the role of government and how the last few admins have not been working for the American interest, NO illustrating the point.
