to anyone that has done this kind of course,, or is currently doin it... I am confused at the moment as to what uni course i should choose! how demanding/challenging is this? have never done chem.. does that make it worse?

probally too late to tell you know but you probally wont need to have done chem. biology however is a different story

wow! finally i have found someone with the same problem!

so do you do food tech or anything like that? i have my heart set on nutrition or dietics.. yet i am not an A grade student with maths, and don't even do a science! gar! the confusion!
we'll share and care, anything you hear, let me know, and i'll do the same.

You'll struggle if you're doing chem for the first time. but if you keep up you'll be fine. Biochemistry is the real killer..

I am currently studying Ex.sci/Nutrition at SCU and i did not do chemistry or biology just PE in yr.12 but here they start with the foundations of chemistry. So does not really matter if you did not do chem at school, you just have to do revision and you should be fine.

basically a bridging course, which offers maths, physics and chemistry, is designed to teach you the skills and knowledge needed before you start university subjects
This is for people who havent done that particular subject before, or those that havent got the assumed knowledge required...ie doing general maths where 2 unit is the minimum etc
usually starts a month before uni, and heaps of universities offer them

what are you referring to? the human nutrition course or the bridging course?
if its the former, then i think 2 unit mathematics should be sufficient

um you wont be totally screwed, but youll be disadvantaged in a way, since i think most unis have advanced maths as an assumed knowledge
if you think youll have confidence of doing harder maths, then i suggest you take the bridging course
