Honestly, when I am around other HSC students I feel like some kind of Buddhist monk casually floating in this cloud of utter, Nirvana-esque calm while everyone else is caught up in the petty vanity of study haha

I'm studying but not sure how effective it is this late in game...

Stupid English markers, what's more authentic than real life?

Honestly some of my teachers have just said the stupidest things. Like when I say that 2U English is my worst subject EVERYONE says 'oh really, I thought that would have been chemistry'. Which is innocent but just an insensitive thing to say. Other people have said less innocent things, and you wouldn't believe the shit I put up with for supposedly 'stealing science' by ranking first. Apparently I am abhorrently selfish because I can't just be happy with topping the humanities I have to take science as well. So yeah, I'm a bitch haha

The fact that we even have an acronym for state rank that all of understand indicates the kind of community this is haha. If I asked my class if any wanted SR they'd look at me like 'wtf does that mean? Is that a type of pinga?'

Damn my writing. In Mod B I had like 5.6 characters per word. Ended up being able to write 35 words per minute. Then I moved on to mod C.. kept writing writing but couldn't write faster than 31 wpm for some reason. Checked and I realised that even though the "number of words" is similar, it actually has an average of 7 characters per word ._. and that my Mod C was equivalent to Mod B + an extra 180 words lol
Interestingly, my creative has 5.6 characters as well. Must mean I'm using too many simple words
No wonder I was kind of tight on time -.-

Don't worry about using simple or complex words.
There's no point writing a sentence that makes no sense just because the words are big and look sophisticated. Simplicity and a comprehensive writing style will get marks.

Yeah i did, however with this im unsure, because the mark differences are literally decimal places between each sequential rank.

And im not too sure how those differences can impact moderated internal marks.
