Depends, there are some people who write so well that their 600 words is worth someone else's 1000 words, so really it comes down to a matter of quality after you've passed the bare minimum you should be writing.

For them to understand my imaginative peace, they need to read my reflection to understand how some aspects of my imaginative is a extended metaphor. If it its marked by a different marker they will take it literally.
