I'm not sure if its just me, but I wrote my notes basically without any help.. relying on recall skills- it really helps memorising stuff.. (not that I have a problem recalling stuff)...

But yeah, try not to 'copy' the hsc.csu or whoeva's notes too much, don't just rewrite them, as the effect will not be as great as actually trying to make ur own notes.. By all means, use them for referencing if u are stuck but meh u get my point

When my teacher told us to make syllabus notes, she said that the notes on CSU were okay for some of the topics but not for others. Space and Motors she said were okay, but for Ideas and our option (Quanta) she used the Surfing series I think.

I just used the CSU notes to give me a rough idea of what the answer to the dot point was and then went and created my own answer using a variety of sources. It just made it easier for me because it was in my own words and hence I could recall things with greater ease. But what you're doing sounds fine, if you're not struggling you should be alright.

the csu site was okay, but i didnt use it much.
i think the bob emery site is much better, it addresses the dot points in a much more comprehensive manner.

the surfing books are also quite useful for writing up notes.

Would you say the answers to the syllabus dotpoints are adequate on that site or is further explanation needed?
There are good dotpoints on the CSU website, however, I would try to elaborate on each dotpoint. I found that if you didn't know an answer to a dotpoint, I would resort to looking at the website and try to research a bit more information if possible.

theres some really good notes, based on the dot points, avaliable from the resoures off this site. I got some stuff on space - almost identical to what my teacher gave me, some of it word for word!
My teacher just gives us the dot points.. then notes on each dot point. any research we do on top is up to us.
