$Consider $ b_n=\frac{1}{a_n}. $ flip the recursive relationship, it is clear that $ b_n $ is an AP.$

$\\ $i) Prove using mathematical induction that, for some integer$ \ n \geq 0 \ $and real$ \ x \neq 0 \\ \\ 1 + (1+x) + (1+x)^2 + \dots + (1+x)^n = \frac{(1+x)^{n+1} - 1}{x} \\ \\ $ii) Hence using the Binomial theorem, show that$ \\ \\ \binom{k}{k} + \binom{k+1}{k} + \dots + \binom{n}{k} = \binom{n+1}{k+1}$
