one of our english teachers said it was going to be 'the power of one' or something like that, which seems a little bit too specific if it is the case....

but i am somewhat more inclined to believe that it will be power.

No offence, but should this even concern us?

Unless you intend on tutoring?

yeah this doesn't matter to anyone doing hsc before 2009
but the AOS for next year (Advanced English) will be 'belonging'
quite possibly the lamest AOS topic ever...I'm sure glad I don't have to sit through it :)

We were told the syllabus is changing. We we told that it wasn't 'Power' but it was 'the belonging'...as in for example you belong to a nightclub VIP list and so on...

lol "belonging" how retarded but then i suppose "journeys" sounded retarded at first as well... oh well!

we're the guinea pig year for the new studies of religion 1 course, it's fine and i'm quite happy because they'll probably ask less specific questions and won't mark as hard - hopefully. but yeah sucks that i can't go scabbing tonnes of notes from bos

"Belonging" doesn't sound any worse than "Journeys" imo.
