The workload is heavy; that has nothing to do with it's level of difficulty. The less practice you do, the more likely you are to make silly mistakes and get things wrong. You would hate to get something wrong if you knew how to do it but you just made a very silly error, that's why you practice; it's how you get good marks in maths. If you do Ext 2, you WILL have to do a lot of questions and practice. It's what maths is about.

No, the reason you do lots of questions in maths is because the level of application can get extremely difficult, and you have to be able to apply the basic mathematical concept to much harder questions.
So the work in ext2 is related to the fact that the standard of questions can get extremely difficult, so you have to be able to do as many difficult questions as you can, which is what takes up a lot of time.

You don't just practice basic questions over and over again, that only works for people of low intellgence...

Of course not. You have to do all kinds of practice questions in 4U, not just the basic ones.

You're looking at a 1 unit subject, meaning it's out of 50. 40/50 = 80% bud. But that aside, did it not occur to you that you actually need to get the marks for the 'scaling' to work in your favour?

m8 when you do 4u, your 2u course cancels out, therefore your 3u counts as 2 units aswell as 4u.

General Maths
Legal Studies
Business Studies
Chemistry
Ancient History

It's good to have a broad mix of subjects that will keep you interested. If you enjoy what you are doing it will make it so much easier when the pressure's on. Although, if you do want to do pharmaceutical degree, you're probably best doing advanced maths, as opposed to general.
