Rank - 1/160 SHAZAM!!

English Extension 2 : 9/10

French: 60/61

Maths: 98% Ranked 17/63

Chemistry: 26/30 Average: ~ 22

Most are worth about 7-8% so will be scaled to full marks. OMG.

What do you mean? My Eng. Adv. assessment was worth 25% of internals and I got 61/63. Does that mean it'll be scaled to 100%?

Cal, 61/63 is 24/25.

So your score, when weighted, is 96%. Damn good.

Forgive me because I am not a maths wizard, but 61/63 would be 97% would it not? So the weighting has essentially pulled the mark down, even if it is only by one percent.

Yeah, it has. Really, it should be 24.2/25, but they only work on whole numbers or halves. At least, at my school anyway. Don't worry though, the weightings are calculated at the end anyway, so if you get a mark like say 24.3/25 in another, ended up with 48.5/50 (hypothetically), this will be upped to 49.

This might be diff. at other schools.

Well it works both ways.

For my 3U assessment, I got 39/46. It was weighted 15%. So converting it, I got 12.7/15. This is rounded up to 13/15. Conversely, my friend who got 41/46, got 13.3/15. So this is rounded down to 13.

Theoretically, anyway. It might not actually happen to this, but when people talk about weightings and whatev, it would be a bit retarded to say, "oh, I got 12.423423423423432423/15 weighted."

I'm sure they don't weight your assessments until they need to send your ranks to the BOS, so there's nothing to fret about.

Depends on your school, subjects, actual marks and ranks.

nah i think mines the same, but most schools operate like this.
ie. i got 46/50 for business= 92% it was worth 10%

so it goes on record as 9.2/10
and each decimal is added together for the final mark.
so getting an extra .3 and .4 will get you an extra mark at the end of the day.

67% - Weren't given a rank, but it would be in the bottom half.

Modern History
75% - Weren't given a rank, but I know I was above average so its roughly about 10/24

Advanced English
90% - Ranked 8/160

Legal Studies Essay
96% - Ranked 2/40

Legal Studies Oral
100% - Ranked 1/40

I'm pretty pleased, however I would have liked to get over 75% for Maths

argh i fucked up real bad this time.

69% in 2u maths compared to 91% in 3u. And both tests were relatively on the same level but wth !? Ranked from like 2nd to like 10th (and this is just compared to the 3u class. I hope i beat all 2u though =/). The people who were failing are beating me ! =[

I will never live this down !

well i've handed in quite a few assessments but we are getting them back when we return

but so far i've received a mark for SORII in class essay on Paul of Tarsus (got 20/20 - ranked 1st) and a Legal Studies Speech (got 10/10 ranked tied 1st)

still have to get back

essay for legal studies
essay for ancient history
source analysis for modern history

Same. I did better in 3U than 2U. 99% for 3U and 98% for 2U.

I'm glad its the holidays now, but at the same time, I'm going to miss the normal schedule of school :/
