well considering apple is very stingy about ssd i dont think inserting is a great idea however an external harddrive might worku know how to upgrade apple’s macbook neo to 1TB? put iphone ssd in like this
yeah it did work as can be seen in dosdude1’s ytwouldnt work
they used the apple genuine part and the apple genuine repair kit, not saying it aint IMPOSSIBLE to do but i still wouldnt do ityeah it did work as can be seen in dosdude1’s yt
he’s not the only one who got it to work
directorfeng on yt got it to work too. it’s a much slower video, maybe not as good as dosdude1’s as he doesn’t give explanations. it also has irrelevant stuff for the first 15 minutes, so maybe for directorfeng’s u can skip the first 15 min:
but there u can see another example of it working

i mean cant you tell its a clone?I know someone who somehow bought a second hand phone that cloned the apple system like exactly the same and it worked liek an apple phone until she later realised that it was a clone when she got it repaired
No it worked exactly the same as a normal apple devicei mean cant you tell its a clone?
the software used was an ipsw file to restore the neo in dfu mode. this isn’t jailbreaking. the ipsw file is downloadable from apple’s servers and can be used to restore macs and also create virtual machines too.also he used some software to bypass it on apples side basically jailbreaking the device so..............i wouldnt do it
