But when you are writing out notes, don't simply regurgitate - make sure you actually understand the concepts. And prioritise the things you need to memorise. Do lots of past papers to make sure your knowledge can be applied to a wide variety of questions. Something my cohort did before the HSC was formulate potential questions from each syllabus dot point and then try to answer them (you don't have to physically write them down, just mentally plan out your answer). Nonetheless make sure you can cohesively construct an answer and write with concise, sophisticated language that shows you actually know what you are talking about. Study groups are also useful.
