How to prepare for extract based essay exam?! (1 Viewer)

Hey, I was just wondering if I get some advice on an upcoming exam (5 days yikes).

We were given 6 quotes or extracts from Shakespeare's King Lear and we are meant to write an essay referring to it ( I think- the teacher wasn't very clear even after asking questions). I'm just not sure how I should approach study this and what how to incorporate this new module into it? To my limited understanding of the new module, it's about textual integrity and such?

hi i am not doing your course but can offer you advice if you give me some.

first, go throgh the quote and try and extract ideas of what it is trying to say about the play. if you still are not sure read through the lines beofre it or even the whole act to get better context.

ultimately, go to schmoop.com or sparknotes.com for added info and line by line summaries
