Im finally getting my LN106R hilux ute delivered tomorrow.
1991 dual cab 4wd with 2.8l diesel. 280000kms. white.
stock apart from upgraded front springs and shocks.
Engine reco at 230000km in 1999. reco due to design fault in air filter or some shit, not due to maintenance. maintained perfectly. my old man is a freak for maintenance so everything is done within 50km of service intervals.
slight surface rust on roof due to sitting outside for a while unused.
new radiator.
205r16x8 tyres (cheese cutters) on orignal rims.
original tub with slight rust.
original front (ie no bull bar). front bumber bent due to being used on farm to push over trees (lol).
light damage to drivers side front quarter panel due to reversing with door open into a large air compressor lol.
stock stock stock.
Am planning on
32inch muddies
lift kit, dont know how high etc yet. probably 2.5 inches to start
removing tub and building a nice steel 4 to 5ft tray with a nice headboard.
probably putting a lightforce 11' spot light through the roof.
800mm wide dog crate on the tray for my staghound
will build a crate to bolt on to be used for hanging roos off and to be used as a shooting rest when on the back. will have the rhs wrapped in foam or something all the way around. plus has some sand bags to put there so its super steady.
turbo one day
snorkel
bullbar. will replace raped front bar and protect the front end from trees, roos etc
gun racks on inside of removable crate for holding rifles (maybe just gun bags hooked on??)
thats about it. repaint in white once rust is removed etc. black wheels, black bull bar, white ute, tray undecided.
im getting this ute off my old man for free due to him not needing it and its just sitting on the farm and its worth atleast 4grand so yeah. he has a 94' GXL cruiser wagon lol the has uses as a farm vehicle (what a tard) and an 08' v8 turbo cruiser ute that he uses for work (builder) so he wont miss his old ute. We also have an 84 hilux 4wd single cab diesel ute with a wood tray out there that is just sitting in the shed. wouldnt mind doing it up one day either lol.
next thread will be about my 75% completed edge sidewinder buggy and ideas for finishing it (ie motors).
any comments, suggestions and ideas would be welcomed
Edit: 5spd manual btw. 63kw with 183Nm and 1565kg tare weight
