Oh for crying out loud. That's a fantastic mark, and pretty good evidence to support that kooky "do what works for you and don't kill yourself trying to fulfill unrealistic explanations" idea.
Lol well some people need to get 99+ for combined law, if that's their choice

who thought they would study but ended up bludging?
Uhh, I think you mean procrastinating? Nearly everyone does. It depends on how much you procrastinate. As for me, I can't get through 4 hours of study without at least a 15 minute break.

But you do well scaled subjects - and ones where you dont have to know that much to do really well in the exams. In ancient history i need 97/100 just to scale to 92. So for the 50 marks of shortish answers, i need to know EVERYTHING. Like every single aspect. Same kinda goes for eco. Study now is needed as a background net to make sure you have knowledge on every aspect of the course.

Procastination is unavoidable at the moment for me.
I need some sort of modivation but I just can't find any.
Pull out a practice HSC exam and test yourself. Skip over questions that come from topics you havent done yet.

Then see how you did. If you havent done any study for a little while you'll probably be a little off the mark.

Now think, every moment you do nothing is a moment that other people are doing something and getting an edge over you ;)

Been procrastinating pretty bad lately. Each day was like "I'll do it tomorrow."
Sort of been doing more lately. The bare minimum I've done is half an hour in one day.

Not sure about hours or anything, but I've done about 7 essays and about 10 pages of notes for english and typed up 7 pages of syllabus notes for business studies (12 font size).
Only one more essay to go, then I want to do some more syllabus summaries for other subjects and do my major work for hospo (or some of anyway).

Fingers crossed I'll get it all done.... I didn't realise that the holidays only have about 3 weeks left!!
It's gone too quick!!!!

Good luck 09'ers. :)

Haven't opened a (school) book since the holidays started...

I want to, though, dammit, I just can't be bothered...

That's not too bad. It builds up.
Start from an hour now and slowly go up and by the time the HSC Exams arrive - you should be able to study heaps. It takes a while to develop skills to be able to study for a long period of time.
