I dont think there is any best number of pages. I think about five to six normal pages would be good-ii dont know what that translates to in bOS pages. you should only use 2 related texts a booklet text and the prescribed text (two poems if doing poems). was that 13 normal or BOS? 13 BOS sounds Ok though

its quality not quataty, it deoends how much important info you can put to gether, it doesnt have to be any certain length. i mean the more you right then you probably have a better chance of saying something they can give you marks for but if you can aswer it adequately in 3-4 pages you would be fine!

there are 8 pages in a bos bklet: however, they have huge margins at the sides and the top and bottom and big spaces in between the lines. for a person writing at average speed, about one bklet will probably be filled in the time frame for each question. many will go over one bklet though.

In the yellow BOS booklets, there is 21 lines allocated to write on each page. The Red and white ones however, are just like normal lined paper with 31 lines and a margin. I'm not really sure if there is some more types you can get. Does anyone know which booklet in paticular we will be getting? Both have 8 pages in each, but I kind of think we will get the yellow because the spacing is bigger and they will probably be able to understand our writing more clearly.

you are supposed to be getting the yellow - though that may be different for maths, science etc. i dont know bout them.
smallcattle: *laughs* dude...just because the spaces between the lines is big doesnt mean that you have to fill them up...they're bigger for a couple of reasons: firstly, because when people rush their writing gets sloppy and the tails etc. of their letters gets bigger and this can hinder reading of the words of the lines underneath. secondly, as a first draft, there may be stuff you want to add in on top, you know, put a ^ and add a couple of words. this way, theres heaps of space to be able to read them. so dont worry bout how big or small ur writing is - just write normally.
