I regularly invest in shares, I obviously go thru my parents since im a minor. But yes they do give high return if you plan well.

No. Since Draghi announced that he would do whatever it takes to save the euro, all those investors who flooded out of Greek bonds have realised that the default-level yields they were demanding were a bit premature. Turns out Greece hasn't defaulted yet.

I keep a fair but of my money in cash.

Found put the other day that even if you pay a cash transaction over two days (two parts) the they still make you fill out a significant cash purchase form (for purchases over 10k, even though I paid less than 10k on each day).
