Behold, my exam handwriting:

(this is actually quite neat compared to some of my other exam papers. I'll upload a page from my english yearly when I get it back. God was that terrible)

Alright, i learnt how write even uglier and even faster than before: (are these still acceptable/legible?)

73 words/108 seconds = 42wpm ceteris paribus 1637 words in 40mins

And. even even more uglier:

73 words/96 seconds = 45wpm ceteris paribus 1800 words in 40mins
I could read about 50% of that so about 50% would be marked - other words would be guessed. I would try to do something to make it a little clearer - particularly if you are doing a subject that has some of it scanned for markers this year rather than having the marker read the original.

When I see this I must apologise for my comment on your handwriting. artosis's look like what a short-hand typist's (know what a typist is?) jottings.

Amazing how handwriting has evolved - or should that be degenerated into.

Did I? Probably, it was horrendous.

Yes, I attest it's pretty bad.

Out of all the handwriting you have, you pick the half decent one :p
yeah
my english teacher is always complaining about my handwriting. She knows it's me, without even checking the student number. So i'm guessing it's preeeeeettyyyy disadvantageous to not try to change it :(
lol that's like my writing.
I doubt it.
I bet yours is MUCH neater.
Besides, as slyhunter said, I picked a half decent essay :p

Simple fix to messy handwriting.
Those sorts of books have terrible handwriting styles that only look 'somewhat' neat if they are blown-up to 5x normal size. When you use them in an exam they look childish. These books are to blame for most of the ugly handwriting in NSW students

Hmmm.jpg

I remember using those handwriting books. However, I still think I've managed to take some of those cursive skills they teach.

I don't know. This is what my decent handwriting would look like ^
