How many pages should you write for Advanced and Extension English essay q's? (1 Viewer)

I wrote around 8-9 pages for Advanced English and approximately (1000 words), 11-12 for Extension English. (1400 words)

40 minutes is a joke. why not give us an hour so we can actually think? otherwise it comes down to speed writing and memorisation

I was thinking of ~700 for short story - which is getting alright feedback, just needs some editing. Then I can fidget with the short answers for a bit longer. Also ~950-1100 so far for both Frankenstein/BladeRunner and AoS essay so far... I can write faster but I do not want to have to memorise so much -.- Stressing over the thought of memorising 4 essays.

you people must have huge writing to think 8-9 pages is 1500 words. i did a 5 page practice exam for modern today and did a simple words per line x amount of lines and my five pages was 1500 words. so really page count is irrelevant, just go off words, or make sure you cover each point with enough detail and youll be fine

850 - 1100 is pretty decent

thread reminds me of my dodgy english teacher who praised me for writing the most number of pages ... "everyone you have to fill all the lines in the booklets given if you want band 6" :/
