How many 5-minute English speeches would most likely be completed in 1 period? (1 Viewer)

I have to present an English speech and we did the order of speaking prior to the day. I got 11, but thought I would be better going 7 so I swapped. However, I am worried as I have not practiced my speech and must present on Friday. I am hoping that not everyone before me will go so that I can have the weekend to practice. Any estimates on how many 5 minutes' speeches can be done in 50 minutes- considering whiteboard problems, talking among students, the teacher marking, and probably a 5 minute delay getting into the classroom?

We also have to use props, so would this drain any more time?

You're kinda in the danger zone there. I doubt the class would be eager to present, so a lot of people would try to buy time, but there will probably be a couple of people before you who didn't prepare at all. My guess is about 5-6 speeches in the period max.
