How long is a graduate course after i graduate from a related undergraduate degree? (1 Viewer)

I plan to do an undergraduate science at UNSW and possibly graduate engineering there as well.

I thought doing a graduate degree was the same duration ~ 4 years but someone told me it was only another year or 2 depending on what courses you choose is it true?

I plan to do B Engineering (Materials Science and Engineering) as undergrad and B Engineering Mechanical as graduate.

a graduate degree isn't B (Bachelor)
I'm assuming you want to do masters, then yeah for engineering thats probably 2 years.

Thanks! is it possible to do a Masters on any engineering degree?

No. You seem to be confusing the options for undergraduate study for postgraduate study. They are not the same thing.

I'm talking about what to do AFTER undergraduate, as a postgraduate course, but I can't see many options for a post graduate engineering Masters course on that list.

The reason being, didn't get selected to my 1st preference.

The availability of postgraduate degree DOES NOT mirror what is available for undergraduate degrees.

They are totally different things so what you see is what you get. There are no courses missing. You seem to be misinterpreting what the point of postgrad is.

No, I said a graduate course can't be bachelors.
Of course, you can do another bachelors after you finish your first one if you want.
Have you thought of transferring?

edit: Postgrad is usually to enhance the skills you learnt in your undergraduate degree.

What you want to do is just a second undergraduate degree.

Oh okay that clears things up, thanks guys.
But is it worth doing 2 Bachelors degrees? especially in similar fields.
