At UOW you get 1 week during sessions, 1 week study recess at the end of session before exams, 4 weeks between sessions and about 3 months over summer.
^^pretty much the same as that at ANU.
It can really depend when your exams are. I had my exam on the last day of the exam period, so my break was 3 weeks, however i know people who finished in the first week /didnt have exams and had 5 weeks break.
