Dude, you wouldn't be complaining if Liv Tyler came up to you and started speaking in Elvish, because hey, Liv Tyler!

So it's not always bad. In fact, if I learnt anything from PHIL137 - Critical Thinking:

1. Liv Tyler speaks elvish.
2. Liv Tyler is hot.
C. Elvish is hot.

Now let's all not think too hard about the validity of that argument, lest our brains explode. :jedi:

ah its nice to see that the "dunce" breed is not dying off just yet. i don't feel so guilty now

holy crap pwar and MJ....that's alot of damn work. i hope you get rewarded for your efforts.

i'm incredibly lazy at maq. my property law books are still in their original wrapping. that'll have to change on this sunday since i have a tute presentation on monday and i need to read up so i can answer questions "coherently".

i think the general vibe of MQ is relaxed, which can also lead to laziness. however MJ and pwar still prove that there are indeed non-lazy keen beans at MQ. they do MQ proud.:)

i always do my readings, as most of my tutors will discuss them or ask the class questions about them in tutes... it all counts to class participation in the end!!

anyway, i know a girl who never went to her lectures nor ever did her readings, yet got a pass in all of her units.

at maq you'd be surprised how easy that is to pull off. some subjects don't fail people very much.

last semester one of my law tutors said "to fail you'd have to not hand in assignments or not turn up".

its especially easy in essay type subjects with less assessments but the assessments are worth more.

and with techniques.. there were no surprises i spose...

lol that interpolation question had me thrown... and i kept thinking and thinking and im like bloody hell... what ?? and then yeah i suddenly realised u do it the other way round literally 2 minutes until the end lol

Past years I've been pretty laid back about it all, like you've been saying glitterfairy - but somehow I turned into a neurotic mature aged student over the holidays. I'm not sure how it happened and I'd like it to stop kthanx. Heh.

Disclaimer: I know not all mature aged students are like that, but I bet everyone has experienced the type I mean.

Havent touched readings, don't seem to be missing out on much, havent turned up to any lectures, usually stroll in halfway through or not at all, usually just to pick up assignments and whatnot.

Hmm, so lazy :p
