It could just be my degree. It could be the early time of year. It could just be my working hours (I only work about 4 hours a week). It could totally just be me.

For whatever reason, I am frequently feeling that I am not working as hard as my friends are (most of whom are doing arts/education type degrees at USYD). And when I say this, I mean they are working HARD in comparison to me who sits at home a lot twiddling her thumbs, because I don't really have anything major due till May.

What's going on?!?!?! I don't feel like I've suffered enough!!! lol.

Because when I'm jumping around saying "let's go out!" my friends are all groaning and saying they have so much work to do :S Makes me feel guilty!

*shrug* I just think some people react to the uni life differently - I know some people never have enough time even when they're only doing 2/3 subjects a semester whereas others have time to spare even while they're overloading with 5/6 subjects a semester. I know what you mean though - no one seems to have time anymore...

Let's see... This weekend, I did about 6 hours for my AHST261 speech, 3 hours for my law essay, and (together with today) did about 8 hours for my hieroglyphs speech. :(

I havent turned up to MAS203 lectures since week 1.
I havent spent any more than 15 minutes prior to lectures doing a quick skim and highlighting the concluding paragraphs of readings.
I have spent most of my time in labs looking at devart and listening to online music.

Im not lazy! I just really like my subjects

Every day I spend at least 5-8 hours working. I have a psych test in week 7, a law essay due week 8, and two other assignments (law and psych report) due week 9/10...

:(

But at least it will all be over by early May, and then I can cruise and just make notes with my spare time (rather than exert actual brain power).

All my hieroglyphs study was sunk by two overly simply sentences in the exam:

1. This, my brother's boat.
2. Priest of the King.

I'll hate seeing all these people who didn't study at all get full marks when I worked my butt off and all we got was an adjectival demonstrative, an indirect genitive, a direct genitive, and two simple nouns. :(

But you're the one who has all the knowledge, dear :) It's the skills that are important.
