How Important Are Ranks? (1 Viewer)

Hey i was just wondering how important ranks are, like do they change ur uai heaps or ur hsc marks??? coz ive been told that theyre pretty damn important:confused:

Ranking is more important than the mark you receive at school.

However, that's assuming that having a good rank means you had a good mark that will reflect your performance in the HSC exam.

If you came first with a mark in the trial of 30%, although you still attain the highest exam mark as your internal assessment mark, that mark may be be very great so it also doesn't necesarilly mean having a good rank means you'd get a good HSC mark.

Ranking determines the type of HSC assessment mark you'd receive as well as the relative difference in marks between you and your classmates.

But the figure also has some indication of the type of performance you may have for the HSC exam, so try not to think because you are coming first with 40% in the trials that you are going to do well in the HSC, though of course you have to take account whether that exam you did was difficult or had strict teachers marking it.

That is true :D

Of course thats the class, hahahah but isn't it true.....

The lower your mark is the better off you are :p

Well it encourages you to study harder :rolleyes:

marks are very important!

mauHUAhh try to be in the top 5 or top3 for each subject at your skool

its good compeition :)
