now I know I need to get GPA 5.5 and UMAT score of 160 to get in medicine at UWS

but how hard is dat for a student from oversea?
is dat about top10%?

p.s.- is the score 160 raw marks which is out of 250~300? ( heard total score of umat varies every year)

It'll be hard to get guess your way for 160.

However from what I've heard about UMAT, it tests your logical thinking and all that crap. To me it's either you have it or you don't. The best thing is to prepare I guess...

There is no way to guess what raw marks you will need to get 160, but it would be around the 70% percentile. However, you may need a higher score - unless there is a different cut off for international students. For domestic students you would be looking at at least the 90% - which is around 180

Yeah I'd say pretty much anything over 200-205 would be 100%

It shouldn't be too hard. Yes, it's rather difficult to practise for sections 1 and 2, but section 3 is relatively easy to improve on. Get your hands on as many pick the middle/complete the sequence/matrix/etc. type questions that they have in section 3 as you can, and do them all. Doing so will allow you to see the patterns more easily, and become familiar with the tricks that are used in each question.
