How good is my combination to get a good ATAR? (1 Viewer)

My aim would be 98.5 and I would certainly appreciate it if anyone can give me some valuable tips on the method of getting a high ATAR.

My subjects choices are as follow.

- English Advanced
- English Extension 1
- English Extension 2
- Mathematics 2 unit
- Economics
- Modern History
- History extension
- Chinese Background

I'm just wondering if my HSC combination would be competent enough to assist me in gaining a high ATAR score.

Haha, harsh ending I think.

Seriously, those subjects have very generous scaling which you shouldn't worry too much about anyway. The key to achieving a high ATAR to get the course you want (and any other scholarship benefits from it) is consistent hard work and revision of older topics.

Keep at it and always approach your teacher if you can't solve something, then do stuff similar to revise the stuff you don't know. Work by the syllabus.

Anyways, harsh ending? So chinese background doesn't actually have a good scaling mechanism?
