Depends on the subject. For English, I can get about 5 pages in 40 minutes. For humanities like Modern and Eco, it's around 6 in 40.

I was a lot slower in yr 11, probably could write 1000 words in 50 minutes but now with all this yr 12 stuff my hand has toughened up and i can write around 1000 words in 40 minutes.

34 words a minute-so over 1000 words in 30 minutes if I memorise the essay/piece
