How does school affect UAI/HSC (1 Viewer)

This is because 1st rank will get top external mark as their moderated assessment mark, and hopefully that external mark is their exam mark too. So that's why there's always like one or two UAIs of 100 a year from random schools nobody's heard of, or why the difference between the dux and second person could be at least 5 UAI points away.

Lol, this is really confusing.

Correct me if I'm wrong but -

What UAI you want to get is totally up to you. The system is fair for every one, and your UAI will reflect how much effort you put in. Equal effort at any school will result in more or less the same UAI. So, it does not matter which school you go to, because you are in charge of what you get.

The system is fair for every one =)

Well... lol... I'm really lost so I only came to the logical conclusion that there would be no plausible reason why the system would put certain students at an advantage or a certain disadvantage. But then hey, that's because I'm probably not a cynic as such :D
