How do we integrate xln(x)? steps?

I tried something like u' = x and v'= in(x)

which means u = x^2/2 and v .

Of course this integral isn't in the 2u course...

In the 2 unit course, you will be given x^(2)lnx to differentiate, which will let you find an integral for xlnx.

The problem is that in 2U, there would be some sort of guidance, for example in the form of a part a), which asked to find the derivative of x^2 ln (x).

However, from the OP's post, it seems they are trying to utilise integration by parts, which is solely a 4U technique.
