Adding, subtracting, Multiplying and dividing time is hard for me, i need it daily and still dont know how to do this theory. please teach...

what i do is convert everything to minutes
e.g.
it is 8:38am. what's the time in 1hour 27mins
from 12am-->8:38am = (8*60 + 38) mins = 518 mins
1hour 27mins = (60+27) mins = 87 mins
so, the new time is (518+87)mins = 605mins after 12am
but
605mins = (605/60)hours ~ 10.083 hours ~10 hours and (60*0.083)mins ~ 10 hours and 5mins = 10:05 am
