depends on the subject

maths, textbook = 30%
past paper = 70%

sciences, textbook = 70%
past paper = 30%

do u guys do english past papers?
You could of done past unseen text (Q1) of the Area of study paper. But since belonging is new you can't do that this year. You can do practice essays/creative writing for the other questions.

Just do heaps of work- as many textbook and past paper q's as possible.

A good rank helps also, I'd say top 5% of your class

Basically finish whole paper with adequate decent understanding will get you 95+ in ext 2
so you'll need to finish Q1-4 in 1 hour and Q5-8 in 2 hours (which is not pretty hard).
