Hello VA types!

I don't do your subject, so I'll probably be getting out of here real quick, but I thought I might as well kick off your forum while I'm around. So, what happened with you exam? Were there any particularly difficult questions? Anything to thank the board for? Post away! :)

I didn't like having to write an article for part (c).
The essay questions weren't as easy as I would have liked, but overall it was alright.

how the hell are you supposed to make up THREE soical things.
the only blessing was that damn article whcih was quite frankly so easy despite me not knowing what a damn agency was.

I didn't think it was a bad exam, but that's because whatever powerful entities are up there have blessed our art class (and I mean this in no way that is religiously offensive to anyone, or implying that we're better than anyone else, we're just damn thankful) because we've studied all the artists in Section I.

So I guess I was just damn lucky.

We weren't allowed to keep our papers. :( But I have... a scanned copy of it! Goofy filched it.

That is the biggest fluke i have ever heard of!!! lol you must be so stoked! I had never heard of any of the artists, to be honest, so i struggled emmensley.

He he he. No, our poor art teacher doesn't even get to see the paper today! She had to go to a meeting, and so she wasn't at school when she would have been able to see the paper.

No, it doesn't seem fair, but forgive me when I say I am thankful?

Yeah, with past papers where I didn't know the artists I struggled too... Calling back on Year 8-10 knowledge is not the best of things when your memory is dodgy at best.

Were you guys allowed to keep your paper?

I prepared for a structural frame question for vsual codes and conventions, and I pretty much got it with question 9 (visual language) so I was happy!!

sec 1 was tricky, but Im happy with what I wrote. Most of it was bullshit, but it was legit according to my teacher. it was good they had an article for 1 c coz then I could have relaxed language.

I thought it was pretty cool.
1c was a bit of a curve ball as noted, but I think that made it a bit more interesting at least.
Yeah essays were gay. I wanted a cultural frame one, but had to change it a bit to fit into q9 with the structural. worked out ok tho I think.
