This is a question aimed at past year 12 students. Did you get up early? What was it like opening the envelope or logging on to get your HSC marks and UAI? Were you nervous? When you got your results, how did you feel?

At this stage I'm just trying to imagine what it'll be like for me, but I can't.

Having been accelerated in IPT HSC last year I was one of few year 11 students who woke up early that fateful December morning (6am) to receive my marks. A feeling of mixed emotions before I logged in then when I saw the results a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. At that moment I was quite pleased in that I had relised my full potential and my marks reflected that. The rest of the day I was on a high then reality sunk back in and had to focus on my other HSC courses.

My expectation is that this year will be very different as I will have five results instead of one and that these results could very possibly determine my future, or at the very least be a measure of my potential. At this point in time I am considering not opening\viewing results until after Christmas (so not to spoil it) and then if they are good it shall be a happy new year! Also I will be able to have HSC and UAI....but we shall see, the wait will probably get the better of me.

i was overseas when the hsc results were released, so the internet was the only way i could find out what i got
i stayed up the whole night waiting for them
was a bit nerve racking, but if you did study the you shouldn't be nervous at all since you probably got the marks/UAI you deserve

I did MH yr 11 accelerated and waiting for the results was much worse than waiting for my hsc results last year. Luckily for me, I was overseas, and I didn't have internet access anyway at that location. I only found out my marks a day later via an sms my dad sent me. It would have been much harder had I been at home, though...No sleep the night b4 lol. You will see ppl posting up on BOS at like 4am
