how did u find the geo exam?
what multiple choice answers did u get i got.

how come theres no geo thread in the exam thoughts section?? we always get left out! well i think the exam was alright, not too hard. although, my predictions for the essays were wrong except for global networks i had a feeling they were going to be in there. luckily i didnt study mega cities or sydney. section 2 rocked i wrote more than needed. my MCA were very different from yours. here they are:

that is bad that our answers are so different,
but the ones u are 100% sure ur right
i also think i am 100% sure i am right

damn ohwell. one of us will have to be wrong.

    [/list=1]after seeing the 3 sets of answers above.. im pretty sure im 100% right.. there was only 3 questions i was unsure of, but you've all got the same answers for them that i did, so hopefully they're correct..
    Section II i thought was pretty straightforward..nothing too hard.. my essays were pretty poor though.. i doubt i'll get any A-range.. but thats probably cuz i didnt study nearly enough as i should've :rolleyes:

hmmm...yeh i got sorta the same answers... i better do well!- since i totally screwed up physics yesterday :(
go the essays though!... they were pretty easy - all i can say is i'm gald it wasn't on mega cities :D ah yay for world cities!!

ok i have had a look at it again
and i aggree q4 is D i just made a simple mistake

but question 2 is c, u have done the wrong age group,
it is 11% times 17.8 and that is the answer C

you have done 12% time 17.8 which give D thats
the wrong answer have a look at the stimulus book

i put 6 d) because i though the river would flow into the big lot of water

yeah.. well I'm definitely sure its C :p (q2).. i measured it with a ruler to the nearest 0.5mm and everything.. i remember the value i got was about 1,970,000... which is only a few thousand of answer C..

yeah but u have to look at contours and they slope downwards at a north west direction

btw, why is 6 - D??? doesnt the river flows into the sea in a south east direction? somebody please explain.

the river didnt lead to the sea, it stopped inland or started inland whatever interpretation u make


the no. 1 student at our school said s-e, the rest of us did n-w

4. d (the statistic went from 150 000 approx to 165 000 which is closer to 10%)

6. c (you had to look at the two spot heights and where flooding region was to get NW)

9. d (this was a curly question requiring evidence in BOTH)

11. either answer a or c with relation to low precipitation but elevation is only high or low when u make a comparison against another elevation standard... went with a though
